After ending the bloody feud between vampires and dragons, the Dark Lord recruited two more powerful allies to assist him in ruling over all monsters. They then journeyed to the Land of Storms to access their extensive records and create the perfect government and thus, the empire of Aldrias was founded, a utopia for monstrous beings. The Dark Lord claimed the title of Grand Duke, right hand to Aldrias’s acting Dark Lord, though the true Dark Lord rules from the shadows. How much time will pass until something comes along to shatter this newfound peace and unity?

After being crowned ruler once again, the Dark Lord of Agniin continues his quest to unite all monsters under one banner. Upon arriving in the Land of Dragons, he finds their kingdom locked in a feud with the vampires. The vampire queen proves willing to set differences aside, so the Dark Lord returns to the Dragon King with the hopes of forging an alliance. Thinking the Dark Lord weak, Nine Dust refuses his attempts at peace talks and instead chooses violence. But his problems have only just begun once his citizens witness his demoralizing defeat. Can the Dark Lord salvage this alliance and display true leadership, or is the Land of Dragons doomed to plunge into chaos?

After his latest clash with the Hero, the Dark Lord set off to learn more about his past and returned to the campaign trail even more confident in his mission to retake the throne. The key to his success lies in acquiring more allies to his cause. But first, he must journey through the Land of Dragons. Though his power has steadily risen, will it be enough to overcome such terrifying foes?

Its old walls and ruined defences crumble before the force of the two Luminaries bearing down, intent on the slaughter of all the refugees protected within. The Dark Lord is once more called to defend those who need him and answer his own uncertainties regarding his purpose in this new life.Series Overview: It’s hard to defeat a mighty hero when he keeps coming back to life–in fact, it’s impossible. The Dark Lord, stuck in a loop of battling a good guy who won’t stay dead, finally loses the fight and meets his own end…or so it would seem. The Dark Lord saved himself by putting his soul into an empty vessel, and now he’s about to stage his own comeback. He may be weak now, but along with his newly formed fellowship of misfits–a slime, an orc, an ifrit, and a dark elf–he’s convinced he can rebuild his evil empire, one bumbling step at a time.

As the Luminaries’ Hero struggles to grasp the world’s mysteries, he faces a confrontation with the original hero. He must come to terms with facts that challenge the way he has viewed the world. Elsewhere, the monsters’ fortress is assaulted by new warriors seeking out the “new” Dark Lord. Thanks to the Dark Lord’s protection, however, these new competitors become much needed allies. As his reputation continues to grow, the Dark Lord begins to realise that it is his bonds and relationships that empower him to rise again.

A VISIT TO THE PASTWhen the escaping caravan of monsters led by the Dark Lord is attacked by the awakened Hero, the Dark Lord’s newly appointed status as leader calls on him to protect all those relying on him. Even though he is confronted with such a strong challenger, the Dark Lord once again solitarily faces off against the man who previously ruined him. Though he is sure of his defeat, his friends once again come to his aid. However, to fully regain his place, the Dark Lord must wade through past memories and confront the true reason for his existence.
