Camera drones provide unique visual perspectives and add new dimensions to storytelling and accountability in journalism. Simultaneously, the rapidly expanding uses of drones as advanced sensor platforms raise new legislative, ethical and transparency issues. Responsible Drone Journalism investigates the opportunities and dilemmas of using drones for journalistic purposes in a global perspective. Odotettu kokonaisesitys datajournalismista. Suuret digitaaliset data-aineistot sekä datatyökalut muokkaavat merkittävästi journalistisia toimintatapoja. Koskaan aiemmin data ei ole ollut yhtä helposti journalistien saatavilla ja hyödynnettävissä. Olemme siirtyneet datajournalismin aikakauteen. "Datajournalismin työkäytännöt" kertoo kaiken olennaisen datajournalistisesta toiminnasta, datan julkisuudesta, innovaatioista, työkaluista ja toiminnan eettisistä periaatteista. Erikseen tarkastellaan datajournalismin kehitystä ja tulevaisuutta. Suomen ohella käsitellään avoimen datan johtavia maita Yhdysvaltoja ja Isoa-Britanniaa. Vankkaan tutkimustietoon perustuva kirja on ensimmäinen suomenkielinen kokonaisesitys datajournalismista. FT Turo Uskali ja FT Heikki Kuutti työskentelevät Jyväskylän yliopiston viestintätieteiden laitoksella.
