The first publication in the series Advances in Psychological Research in India under the publication programme of the centre of Advanced Study in Psychology, Utkal University, this book documents a cross-section of contemporary psychological research in India. It shows a definite trend in psychological researches towards study of Indian social issues. The book reflects a common concern for social development in all the contributions.
