Les temporalités constituent une entrée courante de l’approche des migrations internationales, tout en n’en demeurant bien souvent qu’une dimension implicite, voire impensée. Dans leur pluralité, les rythmes temporels scandent pourtant les transformations sociales à des échelles variables, et les historiens ne sont pas les seuls à pouvoir les intégrer à leur réflexion. À bien des égards, sociologues, géographes, anthropologues, et plus généralement l’ensemble des chercheurs en sciences sociales, incluent les temporalités dans leurs analyses des migrations et de leurs territoires.
