Over the past quarter century powerful currents of research and writing on homosexuality, lesbianism, and bisexuality have rippled through widening channels, finding outlets in scores of journals affiliated with more than a dozen disciplines. To make more accessible to the reader the classic, the pioneering, and the most recent outstanding articles of scholarly work in a wide variety of disciplines, this series gathers a selection of such articles, reprinting them in thirteen volumes organized by discipline. This is volume IX of the Studies in Homosexulaity Series, and focuses on homosexuality and medicine, health and science.
