A rare and timely resource, it presents key research on the topic published in Chinese Sociological Review from 2011 to 2023, using one or multiple waves of Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) data, reflecting the advancement of the field over the past decade.

The CGSS, launched in 2003 and modelled after the US General Social Survey, is an annual or biennial cross-sectional survey of a nationally representative sample of the population from all provinces except for Tibet. Certain waves of CGSS data (e.g., 2003 and 2008) contain detailed retrospective information about education and job history, which can be analysed to address various issues related to educational stratification and career mobility in both the pre-reform and reform eras. At the junction of the 20th anniversary of the CGSS (2003-2023), this volume draws on CGSS data to uncover dynamic and evolving inequality in China by examining topics such as education stratification, income inequality, career and intergeneration mobility, and how they are shaped by the socialist/post-socialist institutional structure such as the household registration (hukou) system, the work unit (danwei) system. This collection significantly advances the understanding of Chinese social stratification, extending far beyond scholars’ initial interests in the social consequences of the market transition.

本書第一章介紹了儒、道、釋、醫、武、民間這六大傳統氣功淵源领地中的一部分修煉思想和練功理念，旨在希望讀者能通過瞭解傳統氣功，得到對中國氣功之貌的概識。第二章是本書的重點章節；2*1和2*2章節，扼述了百年來中國功夫從"術"到"氣功科學"的改革歷程；2*3是1979年以後的20年中的中國大陸氣功界和科學界進行氣功外氣和特異功能應效合作的案例簡介，以及伴隨而來的科學界和氣功界在觀念上不能相容的一些思想表現；2*4和2*5節，從西方科學史例和西方科學的源頭和發展史，論證了現代科學與氣功文化之間的思想鴻溝之淵源來由；2*6節在將西方科學理念和東方整體思想作比較中，論證了現代科學的認識論、方法論和方法論基礎的缺陷，以及如何找到彌補這一缺陷的路由；2*7節主要論述了代表"氣功科學"學術模式的"智能氣功科學"體系產生的歷史條件、時代背景以及在其生存的不到10年中取得的一些人類史上首見的業績；2*8節，論述了氣功這實踐形式的普及和發展將對人類未來發生的影響。第三章是氣功常識；第四章引介智能功的理念帶給氣功界的啟迪，包括特點、區別、要旨、精選的氣功學理論段以及靜態樁功鍛煉的身形要求。第五章內容是資料轉摘。

本書包含三個要點：第一、所列功法是習武、練氣或養生者修煉必達的身心健康效應層次的標志性功法，鍛煉者不一定按書本所示功法去練習，但必須達到和書中所示功法相一層次的身心質度效應。如“鬆腰”可以說是“練精化氣”功成的標記；開啟混元竅是打開中宮祖竅玄關或“大丹”始結的標記；“中混元”坐功之效，是“練氣化神”之功的標記。第二、本書為讀者配置了數量不少的氣功學基礎知識，乃是理解氣功實踐之真蒂、縮短練功進程的必備“糧草”。若能刻苦練功中懂、悟這些理論，練功將勢如破竹。第三、最後二章是對傳統和現代氣功界熱門流行話题的討論；關於“見性”的生命科學機制的討論，是著者對中國南派禪宗法要的粗略理解之作，望能起到拋磗引玉之效。

本書為記念愛新覺羅‧溥儇（金子弢）先生逝世卅周年而著。先生於1929年在武當山向龍門派第十六代李合林學得“武當太乙五行擒撲二十三式”這一道家武功，並於75高齡的1981年受武當山轄區的湖北均縣體委之邀，傳教此功的套路。限於多方原因，先生在此功的全面性、系統化、理論性這三方面做得不盡完美。本書將此功的基本功、基本動作、套路動作要領等整理編輯，使之成為既含功法又有功理的指導之作，以彌補先生當年之不足。本書欠缺之處，在於此拳路的招式應用之介紹過於簡單。本書之上篇，展示先生生前親、直傳的“二十三式”之精華內容；下篇的第八章，再現了在平凡人生中富有傳奇色彩的修煉人——金子弢先生真實的一面。本書分上篇和下篇，共計八章。上篇中的第一章，是（金氏）武當太乙五行擒撲二十三式的基礎樁法等。第二章是手型、手法，步型、步法，腿法、身法和眼法。第三章是此套路動作的詳解。第四章是此套拳術的應用技術簡示。下篇中的第五章，是任何功夫門派的鍛煉者都須瞭解的內容。第一節是對中國文化、道統文代和中國武術的概括論述；第二節是對傳統練功界的“三調”（調心、調息、調身）的擴展化討論；第三節是練功常用穴位簡介；第四節通過對筆者自編的“樁功身形要求歌”的詮解，展開對站式練功靜態體勢身形要領和原則的討論。第六章介紹與這套功法鍛煉適配的輔助功法。第七章是“鬆腰”方法介紹和對鬆腰的理論總結。這是正統內練派一直在討論的熱點議題，也是任何功夫門派的修習者，都要達到的身心健康態。第八章是我所聞的金子弢先生的有關身世和他的練功佚事和對金子弢先生的功夫之評；另有對這一流行拳路的現狀之評以及對這一拳種之實際狀況和未來走向的討論。
