一川，1993年出生，2001年随父母移民加拿大温哥华，作为一代半移民在异国他乡长大。书中讲述了一川的一些小故事，也穿插了少量他的文字。故事让一个古怪精灵的小不点儿跃然纸上，也让读者看到了一个朝气蓬勃的年轻人向我们走来。 《一川的故事》只是一个妈妈养育孩子的实录，并非教育手册。因为书中所述故事既有独特性，也有普遍性，会对年轻父母有所启发。当初创作时作者试图让这些纪实文字停留在感知层面，尽量不总结拔高到观念，即使有一些观念，也只是个人观点。若果真有心人阅读时会有自己的领会与感悟，作者亦会倍感欣慰。 十年后的今天将书稿付梓，是作者为移民加拿大二十周年纪念，也是送给儿子的一份特殊礼物。
