When Princess Elizabeth became Queen on 6 February 1952, few could have anticipated that she would go on to become Britain’s longest-reigning monarch; a figure revered around the world for her wisdom, dedication and sense of duty. Seventy years on, and Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee will see the nation come together to celebrate a truly historic landmark. Over a special, four-day bank holiday weekend in early June 2022, millions of well-wishers from the UK, the Commonwealth and beyond will take part in a spectacular mixture of traditional pageantry, technological displays and public events. The highlight will be the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, which will see 6,500 performers and participants from across the UK and the Commonwealth parade past Buckingham Palace and along The Mall in front of vast crowds and the world’s media.
Accompanying this unique and joyous occasion, Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album charts the trials and triumphs of The Queen’s 70-year reign and explores how Her Majesty has provided the country and Commonwealth with a lifetime of leadership, from her steadfast presence during the Second World War through to her current unifying influence at a time of political, economic and social turbulence.
The book will also include exclusive written content by Tom Parker Bowles. A renowned food writer and critic, he will provide readers with an insight into the royals’ dining tastes and traditions, and into the history and flavour of royal celebrations past and present. In addition, the publication will feature exclusive content about the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, a programme of events that readers can follow from home over the jubilee weekend. At least half the content in the book is provided by official supporters detailing a select portfolio of products and services that have contributed to the social and economic history of Britain and the Commonwealth during The Queen’s reign.
Featuring more than 250 photographs from throughout The Queen’s life, the fully illustrated hardback publication is the only book product licensed by the Platinum Jubilee Pageant and permitted to carry the official logo; as part of the agreement, our brand and book will be used throughout the televised event and weekend celebrations.

Photographs have a crucial place in the representation of the atomic age and its anxieties. Camera Atomica examines narratives beyond the 'technological sublime' that dominates much nuclear photography, suppressing representations of the human form in favor of representations of B-52 bombers and mushroom clouds. The book proposes that the body is the site where the social environment interacts with the so-called 'atomic road': uranium mining and processing, radiation research, nuclear reactor construction and operation, and weapons testing. Cameras have both recorded and 'in certain instances' provided motivation for the production of nuclear events.Their histories and technological development are intimately intertwined: at McGill University in the early 1900s, for example, Ernest Rutherford employed photography to identify the properties of radioactive materials, winning a Nobel Prize for his research, and at Los Alamos in the mid-1940s, Julian E.Mack and Berlyn Brixner designed specialized cameras for measuring the blast yield of nuclear weapons. All photographs, including nuclear photographs, have the capability to function affectively by working on the emotions and fascinating audiences.Through a wide range of visual documentation, Camera Atomica raises questions such as: what has the role of photography been in underwriting a public image of the bomb and nuclear energy? Has the circulation of photographic images heightened or lessened anxieties, or done both at the same time? How should the different visual protocols of photography 'scientific, journalistic, documentary, touristic, and artistic 'be understood'?

Morgan Howell paints classic 7” singles and takes into account every crease, every tear, every imperfection—producing a one-off, truly unique artwork, almost identical to the owner’s original copy, but blown up, supersize, to 27.6 by 27.6 inches, and three-dimensional, with the spindle in the centre, as if the record is ready to play.
This completely original approach has resulted in Howell attracting a cult following amongst art collectors and musicians alike—with paintings commissioned by the likes of Neil Diamond, Jude Law, Edgar Wright, and The Stone Roses' Ian Brown, and major music labels selecting the artist’s work for display in their headquarters, indeed, Howell’s painting of David Bowie’s The Jean Genie is displayed at the Sony Music Building in London, and Yesterday by The Beatles has been shown at the Capitol Building in L.A.
Morgan Howell at 45 RPM, published by Black Dog Press, beautifully documents 95 of Howell’s creations, from Tutti Frutti by Little Richard to Heart of Glass by Blondie, to Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones, to Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks. The artworks are shown in full, alongside evocative commentaries from fans of Howell's work, including The Smiths' Johnny Marr, Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp, comedian Al Murray, journalist Tony Parsons, actress Kay Mellor, Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder, producer William Orbit and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The book features Forewords by Sir Peter Blake and Andrew Marr, plus an in-depth interview with Morgan Howell, exploring his process as an artist and why, for him, music and art are intrinsically linked. With a format perfectly designed to fit on record shelves, this book is a must for vinyl junkies, music heads and art lovers everywhere.
A who’s who of the music world, this compendium is a list of the most must-have records of the last century. – Art Daily

Anton van Dalen: Community of Many chronicles the historic artist Anton van Dalen’s lifelong visual investigation informed by the influences of war, religion and migration, his devotion to nature, and his dedication to documenting the technological and cultural evolutions within our society across a variety of mediums, from drawing and sculpture to collage and painting. Born in the Netherlands in 1938 to a conservative Calvinist family, Anton witnessed first-hand the terrors of both technological and human destruction during the Second World War. Since he immigrated to New York in 1966 and settled in the East Village, Anton has served as witness, storyteller and documentarian of the dramatic cultural shifts in the neighbourhood through his masterfully honed and singular iconography. Featuring critical essays by John Yau and Tiernan Morgan, this heavily illustrated publication is the first comprehensive monograph on Anton van Dalen’s work that provides a language by which to discuss the consequences of human brutality towards nature and our entanglement with technology.
Anton has been included in group exhibitions at notable institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; New Museum, New York; Contemporary Art Center, Cincinnati; and the New-York Historical Society. He has also been the subject of solo exhibitions at Temple Contemporary, Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University, Philadelphia; University Museum of Contemporary Art, University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and Exit Art, New York. His Avenue A Cut-Out Theatre has toured since 1995 both nationally and internationally and has been shown at numerous institutions including The Drawing Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and The New-York Historical Society.361 kr

A fascinating and long-overdue study of theartist’s work spanning five decades of her diverse practice, thiscomprehensive and thought-provoking book providesan overview of Marianne’s oeuvre. It also creates dialogues between differentperiods of her work by presenting them alongside one another – many shownthis way for the first time in print. From her spontaneous, gesturally abstractdrawings of the 1970s, to her bolder, more defined, large-scale drawings that gained public attention at the 1980Venice Biennale, to her lesser-known sculptural and photographic works,to the wall painting created for Kunstmuseum Basel in 2018 – this book spansthe artist’s creative scope.
The characteristic linear forms thatunderscore Marianne’s practice come from the meditative process ofdrawing she developed in her lifetime, whereby she externalised her personalexperiences onto paper. Marianne Eigenheerdocuments beautifully how theartist created a highly distinctive and recognisable visual language by working in this way throughout hercareer. The book also features aselection of essays by a diverse group of writers that discuss and explore thedifferent aspects of Marianne’s practice, shining a light on her work asartist, writer, curator and teacher.
