The Preston Market Mystery Project began in 2006 and was developed through a series of site visits to the city during which the artist became intrigued with Preston's historic covered markets. The artist grew interested in the activity of transaction and exchange, which defines the markets; both the transaction of goods and the social exchange between the people who work and shop in the space. The project was developed to celebrate this exchange and to raise questions about the importance of the 'unknown' within a city, how mystery contributes to a sense of place and what this means in the context of regeneration. The Preston Market Mystery Project consisted of three separate but interrelated events: The Insurance Stall, Voicing Mysteries and The Knowledge Meal.

The Plastic Culture exhibition was held from 28 March to 30 May 2009. The exhibition looked at the visual and cultural impact of the Pop Art movement upon subsequent generations of artists in Japan, the UK and the USA. The exhibition acknowledges the importance and influence of artists such as Andy Warhol and his pioneering approach to using and embracing technology as well as demonstrating how these ideas and concepts have been adopted and exchanged between the West and the East. The exhibition included paintings, sculptures, videos, photography and site specific installations, and featured artwork from both emerging and established artists made during the last 20 years. The exhibition includes the following artists: Rachal Bradley, Nicola Carvell, Machiko Edmondson, Faile, Gajin Fujita, James Howard, KAWS, Richard Kirwan, Mariko Mori, Yoshitomo Nara, Jack Newling, Tony Oursler, Monique Prieto, Fiona Rae, Miho Sato, Cindy Sherman, Bridget Smith, Haim Steinbach, Daniel Sturgis, Andy Warhol and Gary Webb. This is the illustrated catalogue which accompanied the exhibition.

An hilarious, never before published account of a trip to the 1802 Preston Guild from a young man not afraid to have a good time and express his opinions. Lord Linton shows childlike wonder at the circus feats, gossips about the fashionable people and exaggerates wildly! Found in the archives at Traquair House and illustrated with images from the collections of the Harris Museum & Art Gallery, Preston, this diary is both a remarkable historical document and a thoroughly enjoyable read. Published to celebrate Preston Guild 2012.
