Wink and Grow Rich is the fable of a nine year old boy being raised by his carpenter father who is both sick and tired... In fact, he is tired of being sick and sick of being tired. Every day for the last twenty years the carpenter has visited the Well of Wealth and spent a dollar because it is generally known by the townsfolk that if they give generously to the Well, it will give generously to them in return. On this day, the carpenter is so ill that he is unable to visit the well, so he entrusts his nineyearold son Richard with a crumpled but treasured dollar and sends him in his place. Along the way, Richard discovers that the Well of Wealth is not where he thought it would be - so he follows a different, more overgrown path, on which he meets an old woman, an optometrist, a plumber, a gardener, a fisherman, a rower, a musician and an innkeeper. These intriguing and mysterious characters act as guides for Richard and share their wisdom. They have all built their wealth in very different ways yet there is something about each that is common to all. This fictional tale makes one think more deeply about the dynamics of wealth creation. The keys to wealth are in a story behind a story; a lesson behind the lesson. That means that to find the keys the reader needs to become better at seeing - a philosophy the author sums up as: "e;What you see is always what you get."e; Each time the reader reads this book they will take out more keys one by one until finally they unlock the doors to their wealth.

Sue has been living with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) since 1985. In this very personal audio book, she explores how MS has affected her, physically and mentally, and provides valuable advice for others in the same position. Throughout the book, Sue''s humour comes through making it a life affirming read. It is a must read for anyone affected by MS. A diagnosis of MS was the start of a journey for Sue. This book tells of that journey, from the initial shock of the diagnosis through the education process (and the periods of denial) to an understanding of what it takes to survive and live with MS. No one in the medical team can tell it from the position of the person with MS. Sue can and she does so with personal candor and incredible humour. The initial diagnosis was hard to accept. As Sue puts it, Once I ran out of things to blame, the shock really took over. My husband, bless him, has a great ability to make people laugh. When I was with him, it wasn''t too bad. But when I was alone, the pain of feeling hard done by and victimized really hurt. Like a physical thump in the guts and literally an ache in the heart. And really, even many, many years on, there are still times when I seek out company, so I can''t dwell on how hurt I feel. Sue handles a difficult subject sensitively. There is a large body of information in this book which will be useful to everyone affected by MS, whatever their role. Medical staff will find it useful to gain the perspective of one of their ''users'' (as Sue describes herself). Sue''s sister was diagnosed with MS in 1989, four years after Sue''s own diagnosis and died in 2001. It was only then that Sue realised that MS could be fatal. It was the trigger that started the writing of this book ...

"A phobia is a strong irrational fear that induces high levels of panic or anxiety, and often results in complete avoidance of particular situations or circumstances. What is being experienced is the natural self defence mechanism the fight or flight response, responding to psychological fear and worry instead of real physical danger. The rewind technique in this programme is designed to correct these faulty templates so that the fight or flight response is only triggered in the event of real danger.E Motion Downloads are based on the Human Givens approach to mental healing and health – the newest and most radical school of psychology in 40 years. Sonny Sunshine the new Album by The Beat Poet Experience is formed around the Poetry and dynamism of performance artist David O ‘Kelly paying more than a passing nod to the Beat Poets of the 60’s it embraces warmly all that we love and hate about ourselves with a wry twist of phrase and some of the hottest jazz licks this side of New Orleans..Reflecting the major works of Beat writing ALA Allen Ginsberg''s Howl (1956), William S. Burroughs''s Naked Lunch (1959) and Jack Kerouac''s On the Road (1957), the Beat Poet Experience joins these members of the Beat Generation as one of the new bohemian hedonists celebrating nonconformity and spontaneous creativity. The album Sonny Sunshine includes songs, lyrics and poems that have been written and performed over the last two decades in New York, Prague and London. It is Beat Poetry with an English twist and an eye to the odd crazy frailty of human nature with incredible performances from some of the best players currently on London’s vibrant jazz scene. Written with a wry turn of Phrase and a sharp observational eye these are poems about life, death and magic Each track is an episode of delicate organic sound and lyrics.Incorporating a number of different styles and sounds, jazz, blues, reggae, punk and classical, live performances by the Beat Poet Experience are always theatrical, sometimes a little crazy but inevitably an event that leaves the audience feeling that they have participated in a psychedelic rush of language, social commentary, humour, spectacle and serotonin inducing euphoria. An uplifting connection back to those anarchic happenings of the sixties and seventies, firmly plugged into the zeitgeist of 2010, The Beat Poet Experience is fast becoming a quality fixture in the musical theatre / performance art genre and will bring energy, poetry and drama to your festival
