Tragedy strikes when Maria’s sister dies leaving her daughter Amapola to live with them. She slips away from town under false pretenses and has a wild sexual fling with Dr. Manolo – unaware that the doctor has a leaning towards sexual perversion. Paco, though still in love with Maria and obsessed with Amapola, turns to Amelia a sophisticated woman at the height of her sexuality. Their affair is animalistic and earthy for Amelia is in control – until Amapola comes to terms with her own blooming sexuality and desire for Francisco.
