In the past decade, Texas Baptists have been involved in the development of cowboy churches. Each Sunday in Texas, thirty-five to forty thousand people attend a Texas Baptist/AFCC cowboy church. One of the great needs is to have Bible study materials that are culturally relevant for the Western Heritage Churches.

Authors Greg Long and Charles Higgs have created a series of lessons that will go through the entire Bible.

The reader can look forward to six volumes: volume one takes you on a journey from Genesis through Esther; volume two will go from Matthew through Acts; volume three will cover the Wisdom Books; volume four will cover the Letters of Paul, Peter, James and the Book of Hebrews; volume five will cover the Major & Minor Prophets; volume six will cover the Book of Revelation.

Once upon a time in a land far, far away there lived a Princess Sarah, a Princess Hannah, a Princess Rebekah, a Queen Mommy, and a Big King Daddy. They all lived in the Land of Worthy where everyone was happy, until one day

Big King Daddy is a provider, protector, spiritual leader, and a man of God who leads his family and kingdom with strength and compassion. The enemy wages war against them, and his daughters are adventurous, but with Big King Daddys love for his God and his family they always prevail.

Is hell real? Can a loving God send someone to hell? Who is going to heaven and hell? What did Jesus say about the Broad Road?

Throughout time, every person who has ever lived has had to deal with the same question: what is going to happen to me when I die? Every civilization that ever existed has some kind of belief system about an afterlife. Unfortunately, many Christian churches today have totally abandoned what is clearly taught in the Bible. We spend much time and treasure (which Jesus commands us to do) on the earthly needs of others, but we are too timid to even mention that they are doomed for eternity if they reject Christ.

Charles Spurgeon said, If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies: and if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay.

This book uses allegory to depict a traveler as he converses with people as they journey on the Broad Road, unsuspecting as to where they are headed. If youre going to die someday or know someone who will, you should read The Broad Road.

A good piece of work that needs to be heard by todays church.
