After dying of overwork in Japan, Dahlia is reborn into a world filled with magic. Raised by a master of magical toolmaking, she develops a passion for the craft and becomes engaged to her father’s apprentice. Before her father can see her wed, however, he suddenly passes away. As if this weren’t enough, on the day before their wedding, her fiancé announces that he’s in love—but not with her!

Dahlia finally realizes she needs to live for herself. She vows to be her own woman from now on and devote herself to her craft, even if it’s not quite the quiet life she was hoping for! From a chance encounter with a knight to starting her own company, there are challenges aplenty on the horizon. But this young craftswoman is no longer a shrinking violet—she’s Dahlia, and she’s ready to bloom.

Having escaped her doomed engagement, Dahlia is relishing her new life of freedom as an independent magical toolmaker. One day, she learns that her friend Volf, a knight from the Order of Beast Hunters, is to be sent out to the marshlands on a mission. But there’s a problem—traversing the marshes soon leaves the knights with soggy boots full of sweat and swamp water. Might a surprising pair of socks hold the solution? Dahlia uses know-how from her previous life to create toe socks with a drying enchantment and insoles imbued with air magic. She presents them to Volf, hoping they might help him and his friends, but nothing can prepare her for what a splash these items will make! Of course, there’s more than socks on Dahlia’s mind—she’s got her hands full crafting a man-made magical sword, an upgraded refrigerator, and more! Meanwhile, word of the young craftswoman’s exploits is spreading throughout the capital... Welcome to the second installment of Dahlia’s artisanal adventures!

Dahlia is now chairwoman of her very own trading company, and her genuine passion for her craft sees her network growing quickly. Juggling her roles as artisan and businesswoman, she lands herself in all sorts of sticky situations! But she won’t face these challenges alone; her friends and colleagues are there to protect and support her no matter what. Dahlia will repay them the only way she knows how—by courageously taking the next leap forward! From mass-producing her soap dispensers at the small goods workshop, to miniaturizing her magical stove, to continuing her quest for a man-made magical sword, the sky’s the limit for Dahlia. She’s happy to follow her creative spirit, but just where will this path lead her? Find out in this third installment of Dahlia’s artisanal adventures!

When her camp stove proves to be a huge hit, Dahlia finds herself frequenting the castle for business dealings with the Order of Beast Hunters, even though she mostly finds joy in improving the knights’ meals during their travels. However, her sudden success doesn’t please everyone—especially not those who view her as an unworthy commoner. How will her new inventions, products, and handmade magical swords develop? All this and more awaits in the fourth installment of Dahlia’s artisanal adventures!

Dahlia learns more about magical toolmaking under the tutelage of Oswald, all while developing a slime farm with head researcher Idaea. She also begins making new connections as a result of her encounter with Volf’s brother Guido and his attendant. Meanwhile, her recent inventions of zephyricloth and soap bottles are taking the world by storm! With her fanciful imagination, can Dahlia finally find company among Ordine’s elite? Find out in the fifth installment of Dahlia’s artisanal adventures!

Dahlia’s quiet evening with Volf gets interrupted when a rain-soaked Marcella appears at her front gate pleading for help. Not all problems can be remedied with mere words, and Dahlia must fly into the face of danger now that lives are on the line. She may have the mettle to fight and the savvy to use her new noble connections, but this new project requires an extra pair of hands: someone with magic compatible with her own. Who will her partner be? How will they work together? Progress and farewells await in the sixth installment of Dahlia’s artisanal adventures!

The late autumn air is frigid, and it is the time for Dahlia to restart the development of a certain heating device from her previous world. However, the tool has a high price: it takes prisoners and is unwilling to listen to reason. Dahlia drags some very important guildmembers and merchants into her new invention, and the whole Kingdom of Ordine eats it up. Will Volf and the Rossetti Trading Company be able to resist the temptation the device creates to stay awhile and imbibe? Or will they surrender themselves and let it sap their energy and willpower? With new employees, Dahlia continues to lead her company to greater heights!

Through spending time with the Beast Hunters—for example, during field training—Dahlia has been strengthening the bond between her and the Order. One of their knights, Volf, asks her to “back-embroider” his undershirts—an old tradition of stitching a design onto the back of a knight’s clothing to ensure his safe return from the field. Dahlia accepts his request and also experiments with enchanting her prototype with slime. What initially appears to be a failure ends up becoming not only an impetus for a company emblem but also an innovation. Furthermore, as a result of this new invention, leading experts in various disciplines get involved in the Rossetti company, as does an ex-Beast Hunter. Dahlia continues tackling challenges and making progress in the eighth volume in her crafting journey.

When Dahlia and Jonas visit the headquarters of the Order of Beast Hunter to check on the condition of the impact absorption material, they get a double surprise—official advisor robes from the Order, and a notice that they will both receive baronies in the spring. However, Dahlia learns she must attend an unveiling ceremony in the form of a ball beforehand, and it’s decided that Volf will accompany her in the place of her noble guarantor, Guido—but could this arrangement just be an attempt to give Volf the push he needs? In the meantime, Dahlia is invited to tour the castle’s magical tool production department, where she’s given the opportunity to try her hand at enchanting a special type of magical lantern. Her visit proves to be a valuable experience that contributes to her growing potential as a magical toolmaker.
