Paris, 1640, the gifted and charismatic poet Cyrano de Bergerac finds himself deeply in love with the beautiful and intellectual Roxane. Considering himself too ugly for Roxane’s affections, he helps the dashing Christian to capture her heart through poetic letters, but can Cyrano find the courage to reveal his true feelings? Classics Illustrated tells this wonderful tale in colourful comic strip form, offering an excellent introduction for younger readers. This edition also includes theme discussions and study questions, which can be used both in the classroom and at home to further engage the reader in the story.
