Being a true lover, I was inspired to write a story of Boko after observing the way in which people in waiting rooms, airports, and trains unwittingly mistreat their magazines and particularly books. During Bokos travels, he experiences being hurt many times, and by weaving these things into his story, I hope that readers will be reminded to value and respects their books throughout their lives.

Many years ago, my family and I would make trips to the mountain campsites for our vacation. We found and, generally used, the campsite in the high country of Yosemite. It was named Camp White Wolf. There were several other campsites, but this was one where there were individual sites large enough to set up our large tent. There was what must have been a water runoff nearby, although usually dry when we were there. At the site, there was a picnic table and a rock-lined pit for a campfire. After we had set up our tent at our campsite, we would take walks to see and enjoy the beauty of the comfortable woods. The clean, cool air felt so very good on our faces.The four children had their pleasure in climbing among the huge boulders. They would make games among themselves. Sometimes they would investigate the many different insects or small animals that they would see. I carried a notepad with me. I would tell them to draw a picture of what they saw. Later, we would then check the books we had at home to find out about what they had seen. Every year there would be something different. One time, there was an eagle soaring among the trees, not having to flap its wings, using the mountains updraft to stay aloft. In the city where we lived, there were few of these wondrous sights.Back at our campsite, we would set up a campfire carefully in the evenings. The fire pit was arranged so that the fires would be slightly below ground with rocks arranged to contain the fire. There was also a place on the picnic table for setting up our propane stove for warming a meal. Then we would gather around this campfire, and I would begin to relate stories that I knew the children would love to hear. I would make up these stories with certain moral parts that would give them a meaning to life. The children seemed to love to hear these stories. I enjoyed having their undivided attention.Later, after we returned home in the city, I would take time to write down these stories from the campfire. I would have a different story each year; I dedicated each different story to one of the children. They enjoyed having their very own story.I would tell the children to then draw a picture of what they thought the animal or insect might look likea picture that came from their own mindthen compare their pictures with those of the others and talk about the differences they might see in the pictures. They seemed to enjoy these exercises.

Working together is Cindy Pelicans main lesson for her class of young pelicans. Problems arise when Paige decides to skip class and dive bomb the visitors watching the barges at the Mississippi River Visitor''s Center. Paige had thought that the ladies hat was perfect for decorating her nest, but the ranger and the lady didn''t agree. She finally makes it to class only to be reprimanded by Cindy for not listening. Paige soon realizes the importance of listening and working together. She faces consequences for her poor choices and is grateful to Cindy and fellow classmates when they rescue her from danger. Her classmates example of listening and working together made a big impression as well as influence on Paige. Paige takes it to heart and changes her actions.

This book has a very different set of characters. Characters I think could hold the attention and fascinate any child. At least I hope so. It would be wonderful to know that children everywhere in the world might get excited to read and hear about characters that came from me.Tell your children to let their imaginations run with Dellphania Dunnbigher and her family. This book was written to help kids and parents understand the importance of taking care of your teeth. In the book, Lola, a seven-year old girl finds out the hard way that the combination of too many sweets and not brushing your teeth can lead to the appearance of Sir Germs-a-lot and cavities. Fortunately for Lola, she had a regularly scheduled checkup with her dentist, Dr. Marty McBoo who helps chase the villain away and encourage Lola to start brushing her teeth on a daily basis again.

A little girl called Tina and her dog, Pongo, live in a tree house. On a hot lazy day, they see a butterfly, which they name Trouble and follow her to the lake. There they find a crocodile who doesnt want to eat them but instead, needs their help as he is hurt. He was curious and stepped on broken glass, which was shining. Against Tinas better judgment, she helps the crocodile and removes the glass. She is shaking, a not so happy Pongo is watching, and Trouble is also not far away. She understands the importance of not throwing rubbish as it can affect others, and the crocodile promises that no crocodile will ever harm her or Pongo so they will always be able to play by the lake. Tina and Pongo happily return home after saying good-bye to a thankful crocodile and get a kiss from Trouble.

Barths Lake is a mystical place that has been in the Barth family for years.
