“A comic that will make you remember why you fell in love with comics in the first place.” —Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead, Invincible) In the tradition of Miyazaki and David Lynch, The Seasons is a new series that explores themes of fame, obsession, and sisterhood through a dark fairytale lens. The Ringleader’s circus collapses into Winter’s gothic rule as New Gaulia is remade into her “perfect” world, where taste is law, silence is mandatory, and the art gallery serves as a court of judgment. After hard choices are made, the Seasons sisters are reunited at last, just as the ancient truth behind the Ringleader’s trap comes to light. Spring has one chance to free a city of mirror-addled citizens trapped in pools that show only the reality they want to see. She knows how to stop it, but no one is listening. In the end, saving everyone will require a young woman who has only survived by standing alone to force the sisters who abandoned her to do the one thing they’ve never managed: work together. RICK REMENDER (ESCAPE) and PAUL AZACETA (OUTCAST) conclude their highly acclaimed hit series, THE SEASONS, exploring themes of fame, obsession, and family. Collects THE SEASONS #9–13 Select praise for THE SEASONS: "The Seasons is a comic that will make you remember why you fell in love with comics in the first place." —Robert Kirkman, Invincible, The Walking Dead "The Seasons has Paul Azaceta leveling up his game in every way, with Rick Remender’s taut and intense script giving him the space to flex. Get on board now!" —Daniel Warren Johnson, Transformers, Do a Powerbomb "A supremely confident introduction to a world of wonder, whimsy and absolute horror. Exquisite, charming, essential." —Kieron Gillen, We Called Them Giants, The Wicked + The Divine "Equal parts amusing and bone-chilling. It's also a really beautiful looking book, with Azaceta commanding two very different moods across the issue. " —GamesRadar

“STEP BY BLOODY STEP may be my new favorite comic. SPURRIER, BERGARA, and LOPES have created something that celebrates everything comics can be: mysterious, inventive, bursting with imagination, and also incredibly heartfelt without ever saying a word.” —JEFF LEMIRE (Sweet Tooth, THE BONE ORCHARD MYTHOS)THERE IS A GIRL. She has no memory and no name. Nothing but a GUARDIAN. An armored giant who protects her from predators and pitfalls. TOGETHER THEY WALK across an extraordinary fantasy world. If they leave the path the air itself comes alive, forcing them onwards. Why? The girl doesn’t know, but there’s worse than beasts and bandits ahead. CIVILIZATION, with its temptations and treacheries, will test their bond beyond its limits. STEP BY BLOODY STEP is a fantasy opus from the Eisner Award nominees behind CODA (sélection officielle Angoulême 2021): MATIAS BERGARA (Hellblazer, THE SCUMBAG) & SI SPURRIER (X-Men Legacy, Hellblazer, The Spire). Breaking new ground for the possibilities of sequential art, this completely wordless visual feast will delight fans of Princess Mononoke, ISOLA, and the visionary works of Moebius. Collects STEP BY BLOODY STEP #1-4Select praise for STEP BY BLOODY STEP:“Rewards rereads. The visual storytelling is intuitive, but still kind of unique, and EW can confirm that subsequent reads can shed light on key details or transitions that may have gone unnoticed the first time.” —Entertainment Weekly“Full of grandiose environmental spectacle and giant-vs.-monster action, but there’s just as much magic in the smaller moments, which show off a different side of BERGARA’s ingenuity.” —Polygon“A gorgeously drawn introduction to a bizarre, fascinating, and wordless world.” —Comic Book Resources
