Fotografen Olov Tegby Frisk, mer känd under namnet Sotarn, har under ett år träffat och porträtterat människor som precis som honom har en förkärlek för tatueringar. Han har fotograferat dem i sin studio, i vardagsrum och på bakgårdar. Genom att ta dessa personer ur sitt sammanhang och ställa dem framför en vit fond vill Olov ge betraktaren möjlighet att skapa en emotionell koppling till bilden och uttrycket.

MÄRKT är både en dokumentation av tatueringskulturen i Sverige 2021 liksom en vacker konstbok.
