First published in 2003, this Warhol biography goes further than most of the others. Victor Bokris's "Warhol" includes more details of Warhol' early life. David Bourdon's "Warhol" provides a pictorial guide to Warhol's career. Bob Colacello's "Holy Terror" gives an insight into the personalities at Warhol's Factory in the 1970s. But Scherman's & Dalton's "Pop-The Genius of Andy Warhol" is the best of them all for providing details of the evolution of Warhol's art with detailed descriptions of his early exhibitions as well as his private life andhis relationships to many of the other pop artists. There aren't many pictures, but there are several that haven't appeared anywhere else.
