Mer om författaren
Larry Gonick has been creating comics that explain math, history, science, and other big subjects for more than forty years. His Cartoon Guide series has enjoyed immense success, earning him a Harvey Award (the “Oscar of Comics”). He has been a calculus instructor at Harvard (where he earned his BA and MA in mathematics), a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT, and a Montgomery Fellow at Dartmouth. He was staff cartoonist for Muse magazine. His books have sold millions of copies worldwide and have been translated into more than twenty-five languages.Ben Ho is a professor of economics at Vassar College. Ho’s research applies behavioral economics, game theory, and experiments to tackle topics like apologies, identity, inequality, and climate change. Ho holds seven degrees from Stanford and MIT in economics, education, political science, math, computer science, and electrical engineering. Before Vassar, he taught MBA students at Cornell—where he was selected as one of Poets' and Quants' “40 under 40” and served as lead energy economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers. His book, Why Trust Matters, was selected as a Bloomberg Book Club pick; the New Yorker says he "writes lucidly and compellingly about the foundational concept of all social science."
