Flight Dynamics is a senior first year graduate course taught in departments of Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering. This book is written primarily as a textbook, but with today's extensive military emphasis on unmanned flight drones, practicing engineers in the aerospace industry as well as electrical engineering pursuing problems in flight control stability will find this book a valuable reference. The field of flight dynamics has evolved considerably, and is still evolving because of the prevalence of feedback control systems that now control the dynamic stability of most new aircraft in flight. Thus, this book provides a much more rigorous emphasis on dynamics coupled with linear-system analysis to meet the needs of today's engineers and designers.
