Brian E. Daley, S.J., is the Catherine F. Huisking Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. He is the author of a number of books, including The Hope of the Early Church: A Handbook of Patristic Eschatology.Paul R. Kolbet is lecturer in early Christianity at Yale Divinity School and author of Augustine and the Cure of Souls: Revising a Classical Ideal (University of Notre Dame Press, 2010).
