'I found Leeson's book an interesting reading. He has a remarkable command of the literature, and seems to be knowledgeable of every line written by his favourite authors. His book is full of original and provocative insights ... Friedman is of course world famous, yet his role is still in need of assessment. Leeson's book will be a compelling benchmark in this programme' - Michel De Vroey Professor of Economics, University of Louvain, Belgium 'Leeson's book is a mine of information and an invaluable guide to the literature ... [which] anyone interested in the movement towards laissez faire that took place around the 1970s should read ... He continually throws out fascinating ideas' - Roger Backhouse, Professor of the History and Philosophy of Economics at the University of Birmingham, UK
