Katrine Kielos is the author of two internationally acclaimed books on women and economics. Her first, Who Cooked Adam Smith's Dinner? - published under her former name Katrine Marçal - has been translated into more than twenty languages. It was named one of The Guardian's books of the year, and was praised by Margaret Atwood as "a smart, funny and readable book on women, economics and money." Her second book, Mother of Invention, was shortlisted for Business Book of the Year in Germany, longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction in the United States, selected as one of Waterstones' Best Political Books in the UK and one of Indigo's Top 10 Business Books in Canada.Kielos is a macroeconomics columnist and financial journalist who moderates the Nobel Prize Economics Seminar - an official event of Nobel Week, in which she interviews that year's laureates in Economic Sciences. She serves as Chair of EFN's Council of Economists, an advisory body of leading economists and economic historians, and hosts Världsekonomin, EFN's flagship podcast on the global economy. She has been based in the United Kingdom since 2012.
