Warwick E. Murray is Professor of Human Geography and DevelopmentStudies at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He has helduniversity positions in the UK and Fiji and has been a visiting professor atuniversities in Europe and South America. He is President of the AustralasianIberian and Latin American Studies Association. He has served as editor on anumber of journals including Asia Pacifi c Viewpoint and Journal of RuralStudies.John Overton is Professor of Development Studies and Human Geography atVictoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He has held universitypositions at four other institutions including the Australian National University.He is past President of the New Zealand Geographical Society and formerDirector of the Commonwealth Geographical Bureau.
