    Recensioner i media

"...discusses the basics of mental health information for professionals and students alike. It provides an overview of the field and then explores different major mental disorders,... [and] also describes various interventions.... a comprehensive guide to basic mental health knowledge that examines major mental health disorders and interventions. It also considers special populations including the elderly, children, and cultural minorities.... The book is highly readable and contains numerous tables and figures, which help clarify the text.... [It] presents the basics of mental health knowledge to an audience who will need this information in their clinical practice, making it a particularly good contribution.... I would recommend this book to my medical colleagues, especially considering the numbers of people in the U.S. and across the globe who have one or more psychiatric diagnoses." ©Doody's Book Review Service, 2025, Gary Kaniuk, PsyD (Cermak Health Services) Doody's Score: 94, 4 Stars!
