Dr. Md Zillur Rahman is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his Ph.D. and M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and his B.Sc. (Eng.) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research focuses on fiber-reinforced composites, nanocomposites, hybrid and bio-composites, bio-inspired design, computational simulation, and processing-structure-property relationships governing the physical, mechanical, thermal, and durability performance of advanced composite materials, with particular emphasis on sustainable natural fiber and thermoplastic composite systems. Dr. Rahman has authored more than 160 scholarly publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters published with leading international publishers. He is currently editing several books with major publishers, including Elsevier, Springer, and ACS, and was included in the 2025 Stanford-Elsevier Top 2% Scientists list. Dr. Kalim Deshmukh is a senior researcher at the New Technologies Research Centre, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic. He has over 20 years of research experience in nanomaterials and polymeric materials, with particular expertise in polymer blends, nanocomposites, and nanohybrids. His work emphasizes nanoscale dispersion, interfacial chemistry, and structure–property relationships that influence material performance in applications such as energy storage, gas sensing, biosensing, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and high-k dielectrics. He has authored more than 200 publications, including original research articles and review papers, in leading international journals and with major publishers, such as the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), American Chemical Society (ACS), Elsevier, Wiley-VCH, Springer, and Taylor & Francis. In addition to his research contributions, he has edited or co-edited several books published by ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley-VCH, and Wiley Scrivener. Dr. Debes Bhattacharyya is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a prominent researcher in mechanical and composites engineering. His research focuses on composite materials, including sustainable and biomedical composites. Dr. Bhattacharyya served as Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Composite Materials at the University of Auckland. He has supervised over 68 doctoral candidates, published over 550 research papers, authored multiple books with international publishers, and written numerous book chapters. A Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand and Distinguished Fellow of Engineering NZ, he holds an Honorary Doctor of Engineering (honoris causa) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. His international recognition includes the German Science Foundation Fellowship, Du Pont Fellowship (USA), and Gold Medals received at the House of Lords (London) and Capitol Hill (Washington D.C.). He currently serves on various international editorial boards and panels in materials science and engineering.
