Dr. Maryam Meshksar is a Process Engineer at Petrochemical Industries Design and Engineering Company (PIDEC). Her research focuses on gas separation, clean energy technologies, catalytic processes, and sustainable energy conversion. In gas separation, she works primarily on membrane-based separation methods. For clean energy, she investigates methane reforming for syngas production, publishing over ten peer-reviewed experimental articles. She has also developed and synthesized novel reforming catalysts, including hard-templated catalysts using sustainable biotemplates such as leaves and glucose—demonstrating their application in these processes for the first time. Alongside her technical work, Dr. Meshksar contributes to scholarly communication through authoring, editing, and reviewing books, book chapters, and journal manuscripts for leading publishers. Her editorial expertise includes topics such as greenhouse gases, synthesis gases, natural gas, and homogeneous catalysis. She recently served as Series Editor for Advances in Biotechnology: Methods, Applications, and Case Studies.Dr. Mohammad Amin Makarem is a research associate at Taylor's University, Malaysia. He former worked at Shiraz University. His research interests are gas separation and purification, nanofluids, microfluidics, catalyst synthesis, reactor design and green energy. In gas separation, his focus is on experimental and theoretical investigation and optimization of pressure swing adsorption process, and in the gas purification field, he is working on novel technologies such as microchannels. Recently, he has investigated methods of synthesizing bio-template nanomaterials and catalysts. Besides, he has collaborated in writing and editing various books and book-chapters for famous publishers such as Elsevier, Springer and Wiley, as well as guest editing journals special issues. Dr. Mohammad Yusuf is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, College of Engineering, King Faisal University, Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. He has more than a decade of research and teaching experience around the world, i.e., spanning Saudi Arabia, Canada, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, and South America. He served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Regina, Canada, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, and as Head of the Department and Assistant Professor in the School of Technology at Glocal University, India. He was registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, Canada. Dr. Yusuf authored over 150 research and review publications and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals while also acting as a reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include Clean Energy & Fuels, hydrogen/syngas, catalysis, biomass & biofuels, waste valorization, hydrocarbon recovery, CCUS, and several aspects of UNSDGs.
