Dr. Deepak Kumar is a Research Scientist in the Atmospheric Sciences Group at Texas Tech University. He previously served as a Research Scientist at the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center, State University of New York at Albany, and as an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Delhi-NCR. His research focuses on geospatial sciences, computational sciences, climate change, sustainability, and the urban–climate–energy nexus. His work integrates remote sensing, geoinformatics, environmental studies, energy systems, urban weather, and climate modelling to support interdisciplinary research and policy applications. Dr. Kumar has experience in research design, data analysis, modelling, visualization, and implementation across environmental and climate-related projects. He also contributes to academic and professional activities through conference participation, outreach, training, and scholarly associations. Dr. Mukesh Ranjan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Pachhunga University College, Mizoram University. With over six years of teaching experience, he previously served at the Central University of South Bihar and Patna Women’s College. He holds a PhD in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, and earned gold medals in both MSc (Statistics) from Patna University and MPhil (Population Studies) from IIPS. Dr. Ranjan has published nearly 30 research papers and authored a book. He contributed to policy documents for DLHS-4 reports for Arunachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and was honored with the Prof. K.B. Pathak award in 2018. His expertise includes demography, biostatistics, survival analysis, and public health. He recently received the FAST-SF Fellowship 2025 from INSA. He is proficient in STATA, SPSS, R, and MINITAB, and skilled in analyzing large-scale survey data such as NFHS, NSS, and IHDS. Dr. Ashutosh Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar Tehri Campus, Uttarakhand, India. He earned his doctoral degree in 2014 from Banaras Hindu University, focusing on integrated watershed management and sustainable development. In 2015, he was awarded the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Post Doctoral Fellowship in Humanities and Social Sciences by the University Grants Commission. Dr. Singh has previously served as Assistant Professor at Pachhunga University College in Mizoram and at the Amity Institute of Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing in Noida. He has authored and edited books and published 26 research papers in reputed journals. He has presented at more than two dozen national and international conferences and organized six academic conferences and webinars. His research interests include watershed and natural resource management, sustainable development, and integrated rural development. He is a life member of several national geographical and academic associations. Dr. Sana Rafi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar Tehri Campus, Uttarakhand, India. She earned her doctoral degree in climate hazards from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi. Her research interests include climate variability and change, disaster and environmental management, urban studies, spatial data management, sustainable development, resilience building, artificial intelligence, and geospatial technology. Dr. Rafi has held teaching and academic roles at several institutions including Jamia Millia Islamia, Ramanujan College at the University of Delhi, and Indira Gandhi National Open University. She's also worked with Avanti Fellows, Epsilon Learning Solutions, Garuda Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and the National Institute of Disaster Management. She has published 14 research papers and 6 book chapters, presented at numerous conferences, and authored a book. A gold medalist in her academic degrees, she recently received the Young Scientist Award from the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology. Dr. Mahendra Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Hemavati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University), S.R.T. Campus, Tehri, Uttarakhand, India. He has been awarded Ph.D. in Geography from Kumaon University, Nainital, India. His fields of interest are Rain-fed Hydrology, Sustainable Environmental Development, and GIS and Remote Sensing. Before joining H.N.B. Garhwal University, he was an Assistant Professor at Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. He has published more than 25 research papers in different renowned national and international journals/edited books and presented more than 20 research papers in National/International conferences/ seminars. He is an awardee of UGC NET-JRF from the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, India.
