Mer om författaren
Dr. Gourav Singh is an Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, India, and a researcher in medicinal chemistry with a keen focus on neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer's disease (AD). His research has centered on the rational design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of small molecules aimed at therapeutic intervention. Dr. Singh has co-authored research articles in a number of journals. With a strong interdisciplinary foundation spanning organic synthesis, computational drug design, and biological validation, Dr. Singh effectively bridges chemistry and neuropharmacology. His work significantly advances translational drug discovery efforts targeting neurodegenerative disorders.Dr. Gautam Sethi is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer initiation and progression, particularly the activation of oncogenic transcription factors by carcinogens and inflammatory agents, and the identification of novel therapeutic inhibitors. Dr. Sethi has made substantial and direct scholarly contributions to the fields of gut microbiota, cancer pathophysiology, and host–microbiome interactions, with particular emphasis on immunotherapy, tumor microenvironment modulation, metabolic signaling, and therapy response prediction. He has authored numerous peer reviewed research and review articles in high impact journals, received multiple international awards, and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals.Dr. Krishan Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, India. His research expertise encompasses targeted and controlled drug delivery, nanomedicine, nano-therapeutics for cancer therapeutics. He has authored and co-authored research articles, review articles, book chapters, and patents in advanced drug delivery for cancer therapy. His research background closely aligns with Cuproptosis in Oncology: Pathogenic Mechanisms and Emerging Therapeutic Opportunities, particularly its focus on nanomedicine-based therapeutic strategies, targeted drug delivery, and translational approaches for exploiting emerging cancer cell-death mechanisms. His expertise in developing targeted nano-therapeutics provides a strong pharmaceutical and drug-delivery perspective to the book’s discussion of cuproptosis-based strategies and precision cancer therapeutics. Arun Kumar Singh is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rayat Bahra University, Sahauran, India. His research interests include nano-formulation, cancer biology, and neuroscience, alongside digital and computational approaches such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, blockchain, and the Internet of Things. He has contributed academic books, book chapters, and review articles in pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare technology, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches that integrate pharmaceutical research with emerging digital technologies.Dr. Himanshu Rai is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, London, Ontario, Canada, supported by a CIHR Canada Impact+ Research Training Award (CIRTA). Working with Dr. Kun Ping Lu, he develops inhibitors and theranostic agents for neurodegenerative diseases and cancer models. His earlier research focused on near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent theranostic probes for detecting pathological biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease. He previously worked in pharmaceutical R&D at Piramal Discovery Solutions and Mankind Research Centre on small-molecule discovery programmes, including JAK-1 inhibitors and GPR119 agonists. His work integrates synthetic medicinal chemistry, computational modelling, and in vitro and in vivo imaging. He has published as lead author in journals including Nature Communications and the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, and is a named inventor on several patents.
