Vladimir Lenin was a original thinker in the area of applyinging Marxist theory of class struggle for transforming capitalistic societies to social democratic societies. This book collects his experiences and ideas for this historic challenge, especially in the context of Russian revolution. One of the main articles in the book entitled, "What is to be done?" highlights pit-falls and gives guidelines for organization and running of true social democracy party during early years of twentieth century. This book is an essential reading for anybody interested in understanding the theoritical basis of communism but also the up and downs in communist movements of the world.
