William C. DiGiacomantonio is assistant editor of the Documentary History of the First Federal Congress, 1789-1791. Kenneth R. Bowling serves as co-editor of the DHFFC and is the author of The Creation of Washington, D.C.: The Idea and Location of the American Capital. Charlene Bangs Bickford, director and co-editor of DHFFC, is the coauthor with Kenneth Bowling of Birth of a Nation: The First Federal Congress, 1789-1791 Helen E. Veit, associate editor of the DHFFC co-edited volumes four through six, Legislative Histories, and volume nine, The Diary of William Maclay and Other Notes on Senate Debates.
