She is the author of Mobile Citizenship, co-author of Transnational Migration, and a co-editor of Migrations and Border Processes: Practices and Politics of Belonging and Exclusion in Europe from the 19th to the 21st Century, a special issue of the Journal of Borderlands Studies.Xóchitl Bada is an associate professor of Latin American and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago, USA. She is co-author of Scaling Migrant Worker Rights: How Advocates Collaborate and Contest State Power and co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of the Sociology of Latin America and Accountability across Borders: Migrant Rights in North America.
