    Soufiane Haddout is a researcher in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Ibn Tofail University, Morocco. He is the author/editor of five books and over 80 refereed journal articles. Dr Haddout is involved in collaborative research with 30 universities/institutions worldwide, serves as an expert reviewer with AEIC-Academic Exchange Information Centre (China), and reviews numerous project proposals from international universities. He has received more than 200 certificates from international conferences and renowned journals. Dr Haddout has been a keynote/invited speaker and Technical Committee member for numerous international conferences. He is the Co-Chair of the scientific session of the International Conference of Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation USA, the Lead Chair for the 1st Internation Conference on Technological and Research Advancements in Coastal and Estuarine Systems 2025, the Lead Chair for the 1st through 4th International Conferences on Climate Change and Ocean Renewable Energy (CCORE 2022–2025); and is a Guest Editor of Regional Studies in Marine Science, Journal of Environmental Management, Elsevier and active reviewer of reputed journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Wiley, Sage, MDPI, Nature etc.K.L. Priya is Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala, India. Her research interests include estuarine contaminant dynamics, flocculation and settling of suspended sediments, groundwater quality studies, water and wastewater treatment, and microplastics studies. She has authored over 74 international publications in reputed journals and book chapters, over 37 conference papers, and was the recipient of several Best Paper Awards. She has completed 10 funded research/consultancy projects and also guided 4 IAESTE interns, 4 research scholars, and over 50 undergraduate/graduate projects. Dr Priya is an Early Career Editorial Board Member of Results in Engineering, Elsevier and served as a Guest Editor in Regional Studies in Marine Science, Journal of Environmental Management, and Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology and is an active reviewer of several journals of Nature, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Wiley, IWA, ASCE, etc. She has chaired several sessions of International Conferences, including Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation and Asia-Oceania Geosciences Society, among others.
