He is a member of the Caracas Psychoanalytic Society and co-chair for Latin America of the Sexual and Gender Diversity Studies Committee and chair of the PPL platform (Latin American Psychoanalytic Thought).Silvia R. Acosta, PhD, is a psychoanalyst at the Asociación Psicoanalítica de Cordoba, Argentina, and member of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Psicanálise, Lisbon.
