Robert E. Wright (PhD, History, the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY), USA, 1997) has taught courses in economics, economic history, and political economy for most of the last 30 years. The (co)author of over 25 major books in business, economic, financial, and policy history, he decided to combine his passions for research and teaching into a single project to commemorate the 250th anniversary of America's Declaration of Independence. This is his seventh edited book and the second to rely solely on non-PhD contributors including, in this case, high school students, college students, and college graduates with no graduate school training.
