Kushal M. Jagtap earned his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. He pursued his MTech in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power System Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. He further completed his Ph.D. at IIT Roorkee in December 2017, focusing his research on “Loss Allocation in Radial Distribution Systems with Distributed Generation.” In 2018, Dr. Jagtap joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India as an Institutional Postdoctoral Fellow, where he contributed to the project titled “Impact of Renewable Energy Sources on Demand Side Management.” Dr Jagtap also brings valuable industry experience from Sterling and Wilson Electrical Pvt. Ltd., where he successfully managed three key projects: Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, Jotun Paints India Pvt. Ltd., and 3M India Pvt. Ltd. at Ranjangaon MIDC, Pune. Since 2018, Dr. Jagtap has been serving as a permanent faculty member (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar. He has been a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 2018. His research interests span loss allocation, power system deregulation, demand response, renewable energy integration, electric vehicles, and demand-side management.Sunanda Sinha is an Assistant Professor in Centre for Energy and Environment at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She has a notable track record in guiding students, having successfully completed the supervision of 2 Ph.D. students, with 2 ongoing. Additionally, she has guided 18 Post Graduate students and 2 ongoing. In terms of research, Dr. Sunanda Sinha has published good number of research papers in reputed journals and handled different research projects. Her research has garnered significant attention, with good number of citations, H-index and i10 index. Her research interest is in mainly on renewable energy-based systems. She has one patent registered with the Government of India. She has been recognized as one of the top 2% researchers globally, according to the database of Stanford University. She is also a reputed reviewer of different renewable energy related journals. Dr. Sinha bagged best paper award in conferences and Best Young Women Researcher award too. She also organized few workshops-research conclaves-IEEE conferences as team member/lead and act as session chairs, speakers in different international and national conferences.Ravi Bhushan is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. He received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from Bhagalpur College of Engineering, Bhagalpur, India, in 2009. He received his MTech. degree in Power Systems in the Department of Electrical Engineering from IIT BHU, Varanasi, India, in 2011. He completed his PhD degree (Electrical Engineering) from the IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in 2018. His major areas of research interests include Renewable Energy Systems, Power Systems Stability and Control, Electric Vehicle, and Optimal Control. He has over 15 years of experience in teaching and research. He has delivered numerous expert talks at workshops, FDPs/STCs across the country.Dr Bhushan is a senior member of the IEEE and an active member of several professional bodies, including the IEEE Power and Energy Society, the IEEE Control Systems Society, and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). He has published over 30 research papers and holds four Indian patents. He is also a reviewer of many reputed journals and conferences. Additionally, he served as Guest Editor of the Distributed Generation and Alternative Energy Journal.Manish Kumar is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Green Energy and Nanotechnology (C-GENT) and Assistant Professor at Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. He also serves as Director (Independent) at the National Skill Development Forum, IEI India and is an Expert Member of International Energy Agency (IEA) PVPS Task 13. He was a Visiting Scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE Germany and is an upcoming Visiting Professor at Paris-Saclay University, Paris.Dr. Kumar brings over 10 years of expertise in renewable energy research, with a strong focus on water bodies–based photovoltaic (PV) systems, particularly floating photovoltaic (FPV) technologies. Prior to joining HPU, he worked as a Scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), Norway, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. During his tenure at IFE Norway, he contributed to multiple projects on floating PV systems, including power mismatch calculations and performance reliability analysis of ocean-based FPV installations. At IIT Bombay, his research focused on reliability and degradation analysis of PV modules in humid water-body environments, along with temperature modeling of FPV systems.Dr. Kumar’s research interests include performance characterization and reliability analysis of solar photovoltaic technologies; modeling, optimization, and sizing of PV systems; and PV power forecasting. His doctoral research specifically addressed enhancing the reliability of floating PV technologies and maximizing their deployment potential across water bodies in India. In addition to his Ph.D., he developed a power prediction model for photovoltaic systems during his master’s research, which focused on performance and reliability analysis of PV technologies. He was awarded a Gold Medal in his master’s degree from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur.Dr. Kumar has published numerous research articles in reputed peer-reviewed international journals and serves as a reviewer for various leading. He has received prestigious international scholarships from the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan), the European Union, the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre, and the Department of Science and Technology (India). He has visited and collaborated academically in several countries, including the United States, Norway, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Taiwan, and China.
