Christian Muñoz-Sánchez is a professor of Project Management, Supply Chain Management, and Head of the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration program at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN-Mexico). He is a PhD holder in Management Sciences and in Economics and Technology Management. Prof. Muñoz-Sánchez has led and participated in international research projects funded by Mexico's Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI), the British Academy, the National Polytechnic Institute (Mexico), the Metropolitan Autonomous University (Mexico), the Energy Regulatory Commission (Mexico), UPF Barcelona School of Management, the Free University of Bolzano, and the British Council. He has published articles in leading scientific journals, book chapters, and at international conferences. Prof. Muñoz-Sánchez is a member of the Mexican National Researchers System (SNII-SECIHTI) and is actively involved in linkage projects with Mexican and International companies to improve their operations and promote innovation and competitiveness. His areas of expertise are Operations Management, Operations Excellence Research, Sustainability Transitions, Innovation Theory, Sustainable Development, Technological Capabilities, Sustainable Mobility, Sustainable and Green Manufacturing, Complex Product Systems, Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, Total Quality Management, Business Process Reengineering, and Innovation Systems.Luis Rocha-Lona is a senior lecturer at Instituto Politécnico Nacional de México, Mexico, where he teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and supervises several PhD and Master students. Dr. Rocha-Lona has over 15 years of working experience in the public and private sectors. He has led several research projects sponsored by the Mexican Government through the National Council of Science and Technology and Instituto Politécnico Nacional de México. He co-organized an international workshop (2015) for UK and Mexican researchers, sponsored by the British Council. He was also awarded a Newton Fund grant by the British Academy to investigate the use and implementation of green technologies and sustainability standards in emerging economies. Currently, Luis Rocha collaborates with leading international universities, research centers, and decision-makers in the private and public sectors, co-organizing several international workshops and two successful international congresses on Business Sustainability and Emerging Technologies. Dr. Rocha-Lona has written in leading international journals and presented his research at several international venues. He is an active member of the National System of Researchers at Mexico's Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI).Jose Arturo Garza-Reyes is a professor of Operations Management and Head of the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement at the University of Derby, UK. He is actively involved in industrial projects where he combines his knowledge, expertise, and industrial experience in operations management to help organizations achieve excellence in their internal functions and supply chains. He has also led and managed international research projects funded by the British Academy, the British Council, the European Commission, Innovate UK, and Mexico's Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI). As a leading academic, he has published over 350 articles in leading scientific journals, international conferences, and eight books. Prof. Garza-Reyes is an Editor, Associate Editor, and Editor-in-Chief of several internationally renowned journals. His areas of expertise and interest include Operations and Production Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Lean and Agile Operations and Supply Chains, Sustainability within the context of Operations and Supply Chains, Circular or Closed-Loop Operations and Supply Chains, Sustainable and Green Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technology application in operations and supply chains, Lean Management, Quality Management and Operations Excellence, and Innovation Management.Daniel Luiz De Mattos Nascimento is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona Business School, Spain. Dr. Mattos focuses his research on three key areas: sustainable management systems, emerging digital technologies, and Lean-agile and digital supply chains. His work in these domains has resulted in the publication of 33 articles in high-impact journals. Dr. Mattos is a member of the worldwide team of the International Academy for Quality and an Associate Editor of two renowned journals. He has been accredited as an Associate Professor by the Ministry of Universities of the Spanish Government (ANECA) and the Agency for Quality in the Catalan University System (AQU Catalunya). In the technological field, he has developed and registered four open-source software solutions and one proprietary software tool. He has collaborated with globally renowned researchers in areas such as climate impact management, sustainability, Lean management, and Industry 4.0. With over 12 years of teaching experience, Dr. Mattos has delivered more than 1,500 hours of lectures, with a clear focus on digital transformation, interoperability, and sustainability in operations and supply chains. He has designed and coordinated innovative courses, supervised more than 16 undergraduate and master's theses, and is currently supervising three doctoral theses while co-supervising three others. His teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering innovation and academic excellence.Fernando Gonzalez-Aleu has over 25 years of experience at Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico, as a professor and in administrative roles, and is a full-time professor teaching and conducting research on Operational Excellence. His prior industry experience includes 15 years of implementing quality, environmental, and management systems in Mexico and Chile. As an academic and practitioner, Dr. Gonzalez-Aleu has facilitated more than 30 continuous improvement projects and co-advised 15 others. He received a BS in Mechanical and Management Engineering at UDEM, an MS at ITESM in 1999, and an MS and Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2015 and 2016, respectively. His research is focused on continuous improvement projects and performance excellence models, producing one book, four journal papers, and 13 proceedings. He is a member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, the American Society for Engineering Management, the American Society for Quality, and the Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.
