He is currently serving as the Director of Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara and has also been associated as Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi and has more than three decades of teaching, research, and administrative experience. Prof. Singh has made significant contributions in the areas of microwave and millimeter-wave imaging, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, remote sensing, radar systems, data fusion, and drone-based applications. His research interests also include satellite data applications, electromagnetic modeling, stealth technologies, and image processing. He has supervised numerous Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students and has published a large number of research papers in reputed journals and conferences. Throughout his academic career, Prof. Singh has received several prestigious national and international fellowships and recognitions. He has worked as a visiting scientist and research fellow at renowned institutions in countries including Japan, Germany, France, China, and Spain. His leadership and research contributions have played an important role in advancing interdisciplinary technologies related to remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and communication systems.
