    Recensioner i media

"Each chapter clearly demonstrates what teaching the targeted concept looks like in a workshop classroom, with examples for different grade levels which can be adapted as necessary. Clear and understandable, and eminently practical, the book clearly achieves the objective of showing how to teach grammar in the context of the workshop model." - Sarah Brew, Parents in Touch"This is the book that literacy teachers everywhere have been waiting for! Literacy teachers, aware of the power of the workshop model and of the importance of teaching grammar in the context of writing instruction, often ask: "What is the best way to incorporate grammar into the writer’s workshop?" These teachers should look no further, as Benjamin and Golub’s book is an outstanding resource that answers this question like no other text does. I have no doubt educators will find this book to be extremely useful!" - Sean Ruday, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of English Education, Longwood University, and author of the The Common Core Grammar Toolkit books."Barb and Amy’s book will make you feel in-the-know about how our language works, how kids can best learn its rules, and how to make grammar a regular part of your ELA instruction. It’s doable, and after reading this excellent book, I’m convinced it’s essential." - Jennifer Serravallo, Author and Literacy Consultant
