This book is an examination of the contemporary ethical problems of business in a philosophical context. It analyses various types of capitalism, in particular, the Anglo-American type which is practised primarily in the English-speaking world, and is exemplified by the commercial and financial systems of Wall Street and the City of London.
NORMAN BARRY is Professor of Social and Political Theory at the University of Buckingham. He is a distinguished social and political theorist, specialising in social and political theory and political economy. He has been a visiting scholar at the Social Philosophy Centre, Bowling Green, Ohio and Liberty Fund, Indianapolis. He is also a member of the Academic Advisory Councils of the IEA and David Hume Institute Edinburgh.
