ROBERT J. MCINTYRE is a Professor of Economics and currently Senior Researcher at the Institute for International Economic and Political Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, as well as a Senior Economist with the United Nations Development Programme. He has published numerous articles and books, including Reproductive Behaviour: Central and Eastern European Experience and Bulgaria: Political Economy and Society. - BRUNO DALLAGO is Professor of Political Economy and Comparative Economic Systems at the University of Trento, Italy and Director of the Masters in Local Development for the Balkans.
