Peter De Bolla is Lecturer in the English Faculty and Fellow of King's College, Cambridge, UK. He is the author of The Education of the Eye (2003), Art Matters (2001), with Andrew Ashfield The Sublime: A Reader in British Eighteenth-Century Aesthetic Theory (1996) and The Discourse of The Sublime (1989). Nigel Leask is Reader in Romantic Literature in the English Faculty and Fellow of Queen's College, Cambridge, UK. He is the author of numerous books and articles in Romantic Literature, his most recent publication being Curiosity and the Aesthetics of Travel Writing, 1770-1840 (2002). He is currently working on a book on Robert Burns and British Romanticism. David Simpson is Professor of English and G.B.Needham Fellow at the University of California, Davis, USA. He is the author and editor of a number of books on Romanticism and on literary theory, most recently The Academic Postmodern (1995) and Situatedness (2002).
