ANDREW HISCOCK is Reader in English at the University of Wales, Bangor, UK. He has published on authors and texts across the early modern period and his most recent monograph is The Uses of this World: Thinking Space in Shakespeare, Marlowe, Cary and Jonson (2004). He is currently researching into representations of memory in the period 1520-1620. LISA HOPKINS is Professor of English at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, and a co-editor of Shakespeare, the journal of the British Shakespeare Association.
