BRUNO DALLAGO is Professor of Economics at the University of Trento, Italy. He received his PhD in Economics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary, in 1980. He is the author and editor of a large number of books and journal articles, including: Small and Medium Enterprises in Transitional Economies (co-edited with Robert J. McIntyre), published by Palgrave; Economic Institutions, Markets and Competition: Centralization and Decentralization in the Transformation of Economic Systems (co-edited with Luigi Mittone), published by Edward Elgar; and several journal articles.
