The port of Gloucester, nestled under Cape Ann in Massachusetts, has been a focus for seafaring stories from "Captains Courageous" to "The Perfect Storm". The author's grandfather, Steve Ollson was lost at sea in 1935, in a dory, trawling for halibut.
