If You Will Ask

“We think of prayer as a preparation for work . . . whereas prayer is the essential work.” —Oswald Chambers, If You Will Ask

A short, powerful collection of Oswald Chambers’ teaching on prayer, If You Will Ask explores how this vital spiritual discipline is less about getting what you want and more about getting to know the God of the universe.

Throughout these Scripture-packed pages, you’ll learn how to:

• Prepare your heart and mind for prayer
• Intercede on behalf of others and the work God wants to accomplish
• Respond when He seems silent
• Rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit as you pray
• Grow closer to God as He reveals His will to you

Each chapter ends with a prayer taken directly from Chambers’ prayer journals and lectures at the Bible Training College in London.

Prayer aligns our hearts with God’s and nourishes our life in Him. Take your next step toward a richer, more vibrant prayer life.
