Recensioner i media
Focusing on Hollywood adaptations of the 1940s and 1950s, prominent film scholar Imelda Whelehan incisively demonstrates the ability of adaptation studies to offer fresh and often brilliant readings of classic American cinema, as she rigorously opens up canonical films through the lens of the literature that is their critical foundation.
