    Beskrivning

Humanity has grappled with various viral outbreaks since early times, underscoring the critical need for innovative approaches to control them. This new volume, Nanotechnological Management of Viral Infections, provides a comprehensive exploration of the cutting-edge field where nanotechnology meets virology.Dealing with the utilization of nanotechnology for the management and treatment of viral diseases, chapters cover a range of topics on virology, including the utilization of metal-based nanoparticles, nanoformulations derived from oriental herbs and spices, and nanocarriers engineered for targeted drug delivery. In addition, the promising avenues that nanotechnology offers for theragnostics, particularly in the context of virus-induced cancer, as well as effective treatments for influenza and coronaviruses, are discussed. Innovations in nano-based analytics that enable early detection and diagnosis of viral infections are covered as are future approaches in vaccine development against diverse viral threats. With leading experts from around the globe presenting the latest advancements in nano-medicinal approaches for combating viral infections with a multifaceted array of strategies, this volume will be valuable for doctors, medical students, medical researchers, professors, as well as scientists working in the area of nanotechnology and viral infections.
