Geert van Calster is voorzitter van de Onderzoekseenheid Internationaal en EU recht aan de KU Leuven. Hij is alumnus van het Europacollege, Brugge, directeur van het Instituut IPR en Senior Fellow aan het Leuven Institute for Global Governance Studies. Hij is tevens visiting professor aan de China-EU School of Law in Beijing, visiting lecturer aan King's College, London, en visiting professor Monash University, Melbourne. Daarnaast is hij advocaat aan de balie van Brussel en editor van "www.gavclaw.com", een blog over recente ontwikkelingen inzake IPR, Wereldhandelsrecht en Milieurecht, zijn drie belangrijkste onderzoeks- en praktijkgebieden.Geert van Calster is Chairman of the research unit international and EU law at the KU Leuven. He is alumnus of the college of Europe, Bruges, Director of the IPR Institute and Senior Fellow at the Leuven Institute for the Institute for Global Governance Studies. He is also a visiting professor at the China-EU School of Law in Beijing, visiting lecturer at King's College, London, and visiting professor at Monash University, Melbourne. He is also a lawyer of the Brussels Bar and editor of "www.gavclaw.com", a blog about recent developments in IPR, world trade law and environmental law, his three main research and practice areas.
