Årlig uppdatering om producenter och viner från världens vinländer - dock inte Sverige. Detta är den 41:a årgången från denne berömde vinskribent med sin stora medarbetarstab. Bedömning efter femgradig skala, med årgångsrekommendationer för en stor del av vinerna. Även råd till den som vill lagra sina viner för bättre mognad.
Läsvärt avsnitt om att kombinera mat och vin. Till Gravadlax föreslås torr madeira, sherry, tokajer och champagne. Årets utgåva har även ett särskilt avsnitt om syrah och grenache.
